HPTC Welding Students Fit Out Fort Supply Fire Truck

High Plains Tech Center Welding students Talan Coleman, Stetson Pettey, Justin Hamaker, and Harley Surveyor undertook a significant project this past school year by fitting out a Fort Supply Fire truck. Throughout the year, the students transformed the truck from just a bed and cab into a fully functional fire truck. They mounted the fire skid, wired all the controls and lights, installed the monitor, and completed various other tasks to get it ready to fight fire.

Pictured with the students are HPTC Welding Instructors Tracy Borden and David Parada.
