High Plains Technology Center (HPTC) is a testing site for Oklahoma State Merit tests, Oklahoma high school equivalency tests and ACT residual tests.

GED - High School Equivalency Tests  (This test is currently not available due to construction in the testing site.)

HPTC offers online GED testing (high school equivalency test) testing through our Academic Center. Click here for more information regarding the GED testing through Pearson VUE. You must schedule your testing through Pearson VUE at 1-877-551-7587 or  www.pearsonvue.com.

Included in the Pearson Vue exams that can be taken at HPTC is the Certification Examinations for Oklahoma Educators™ (CEOE™). 

The Oklahoma Commission for Teacher Preparation (OCTP) contracted with the Evaluation Systems group of Pearson for the development, administration, and scoring of the Certification Examinations for Oklahoma Educators (CEOE). The purpose of the CEOE program is to help ensure that all candidates seeking certification in Oklahoma have the knowledge and skills necessary to perform the job of an entry-level educator in Oklahoma public schools.

Test Registration & Scheduling Information

Registration:  To take a test, you must first complete the registration and payment process at the CEOE program website: www.ceoe.nesinc.com

Scheduling:   Once you have registered to take a test, you may schedule your test appointment online 7 days per week, 24 hours per day. Test appointments are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.

To schedule a test appointment, log in to your CEOE account and select “schedule” on the current registrations page for the test you wish to schedule: www.ceoe.nesinc.com

After you schedule your test appointment, Pearson VUE will send a confirmation email listing your test date, your testing time, the address and phone number of the test center, and directions to the test center.

Rescheduling or Canceling a Test:   To reschedule or cancel a test appointment, log in to your account at the CEOE program website and follow the instructions provided on the current registrations page: www.ceoe.nesinc.com

ASE  

High Plains Technology Center is now a Prometric Satellite Test Center.  We are pleased to offer ASE computer based testing. Register for testing online at the ASE Website. Once you have completed your registration call, Darla Borden at 580-571-6165, to schedule your testing appointment.

ACT Residual Testing

HPTC offers an on-campus "residual" testing program for the ACT.  Testing is available to HPTC students who have officially applied, have been admitted or have enrolled in one of our programs. Residual test scores are only applicable and reported to HPTC for admission, course placement and advising purposes.  Cost is $50 payable the day of the test. Chad Cargill's ACT  Prep Course

High Plains Technology Center will be hosting Chad Cargill’s ACT prep course on Monday, September 27th from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the Seminar Center at the Tech Center.  The cost is $35.00 per student.  Click here for the student application form with all the information on it.

Adult education night classes are currently open for enrollment in Woodward for those adults who would like to work toward improving their basic skills in math, English, and reading or who would like to earn a GED high school equivalency diploma.

Classes meet every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:30 P.M. at Woodward High School.

Enrollment will be every Tuesday and Thursday at 6:00 P.M. and is open throughout the year for all interested adults.

The classes and the materials are free.
