Treasurer/Activity Fund Custodian

High Plains Technology Center is seeking applications for a full-time Treasurer/Activity Fund Custodian. This is a 12-month position that plays a crucial role in the financial operations of the district. The Treasurer/Activity Fund Custodian will oversee the daily recording and depositing of revenue for various funds, including General, Building, and Activity accounts. Key responsibilities include reconciling all accounts monthly and managing comprehensive financial reports. Additionally, the custodian must prepare and submit time-sensitive documentation promptly.

Educational requirements: Applicants should possess at least three years’ experience in accounting, with preference given to candidates with school-related experience. Successful candidates will exhibit excellent communication skills (both oral and written), strong organizational abilities, proficiency in computer skills, and experience in records management. Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are essential.

The position will be located in Woodward, OK.

Diesel Tech Instructor

The Diesel Technology Instructor will be responsible for the instruction, curriculum development, and operation of a competency-based Diesel Technology program. The instructor must be able to engage and teach both high school and adult students in the principles, safety, and technology of diesel engines. Additionally, the instructor will organize and sponsor an active career and technology student organization.

Applicants should be proficient in using tools and equipment commonly found in today’s diesel automotive industry. Education requirements include a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of three years of recent experience directly related to diesel mechanics and engines. The candidate must hold or be willing to pursue a teaching certificate in the Trade and Industrial Education program certification areas.

The instructor must be available to work the designated schedule, including extended hours as needed for conferences within the school district or travel to state and/or national conferences. All instructor positions are safety-sensitive.

The position will be located in Woodward, OK.
