Automotive Technology

  1. Work on today's cars and trucks in a rapidly changing industry using a full systems approach. 

  2. Diagnose, maintain and repair a wide range of vehicles alongside ASE certified automotive experts.

  3. Troubleshoot complex automotive systems using advanced diagnostic and repair equipment in a modern automotive environment.

Operations related to the entire field of automobile repair and maintenance are covered in this course. This program prepares students in the areas of fundamentals, engine performance, safety, brakes, electrical systems suspension, drive trains, and heating and air conditioning. 

The Automotive Competency certificate is awarded to those students who successfully meet the completion requirements for this program. The students will also be prepared to take the state and ASE Certification tests.

The Automotive Technology program is ASE certified.
