Professional Certified – Academic Center Instructor
Position available for Academic Center (AC) Instructor, providing academic support and assistancein instruction, curriculum development and operation of a competency-based Academic Center program. Instructor must be able to engage and instruct multiple High School and Adult students working on a variety of projects simultaneously. Ability to work with math concepts such as probability and statistical inference, algebra, and plane and solid geometry. Administer and proctor various examsand certification tests. Work cooperatively with HPTC program instructors, administration, staff and students on a day to day basis. Participate in AC Advisory Committee and provide resources, as needed. Oklahoma State Department of Education standard or provisional secondary teacher certification required with preference in Math or/or Language Arts. Must have or be willing to obtain Oklahoma Career Technology Certification. Must be proficient in various computer applications and general office equipment. Available to work designated work schedule, extended hours as required by position responsibilities and must be able to attend and participate in meetings /conferences as scheduled within the school district or travel to state and/or national conferences.
