Professional Certified – Automotive Technology Instructor
Position available for Automotive Technology Instructor responsible for the instruction, curriculum development and operation of a competency-based Automotive Technology program. Instructor must be able to engage and instruct High School and Adult students in the principles, safety and technology of the automotive industry. Instructor will organize and supervise students in training within business establishments in the community and organize and sponsor an active career technology student organization. Applicant should be adept in the use of tools and equipment used in today’s automotive industry. Educational requirements include a Bachelor’s Degree (preferred), High School diploma or GED with a minimum of three years of recent experience directly related to the automotive industry. Must hold or be willing to pursue a teaching certificate in Trade and Industrial Education and ASE certified in program certification areas. Available to work designated work schedule, extended hours as required by position responsibilities and must be able to attend and participate in meetings / conferences as scheduled within the school district or travel to state and/or national conferences.
