Lifesaving award received by HPTC student

Matt Lehenbauer, Emergency Management Director at the City of Woodward, was recently honored with a lifesaving award for administering CPR to an individual experiencing full cardiac arrest. Merely a month prior, Matt had attended a CPR Refresher course at HPTC with Safety Instructor Jathan Medina.

According to Matt, "The Refresher course couldn't have come at a better time, and coupled with Jathen Medina's exceptional instruction, I was equipped with the necessary skills to save a life exactly when it mattered most.”

We are so proud of our Safety Instructors and their incredible impact. Hearing about the lives that have been saved as a result of their training warms our hearts.

It doesn't get much more rewarding than that! Way to go Matt Lehenbauer and Jathan Medina!
